The Dragon Boat Festival is coming up.

Next Monday is the Dragon Boat Festival, so we’ll have a three-day vacation starting tomorrow.

The traditional food eaten during the Dragon Boat Festival is zongzi, normally made of sticky rice.

I learned how to make zongzi from my great-grandma when I was a kid, so I can make them myself.

Every time I make zongzi I remember my great-grandma and the generous love she had for me.

For most Chinese people, the purpose of the Dragon Boat Festival is to remember the famous ancient person Qu Yuan. For me, it’s also a time to remember my great-grandma.

A hill with an ancient trail

I uploaded a new video.

It’s about my last hike on a small hill with an ancient trail.

I don’t have time to add captions, because I need to go to bed early tonight for tomorrow’s hike.

If you have any advice, feel free to let me know.

What am I busy with?

I have been busy recently, and it kind of brought me out of my routine this week.

So I ask myself what exactly is keeping me so busy?

I don’t even know! Too much to deal with, but too little initiative.

Perhaps I need to bring my level of self-reflection to a higher dimension.

My lunch today

I just drank a cup of latte and ate a potato a few minutes ago. I had steamed the potato when I  cooked my breakfast this morning.

The latte was about 350 ml.

It was simple but tasty.

I also have some fruits and nuts on my table in case I become hungry in the afternoon.
